In February 2023 the time had come:
After a long search we have finally found a beautiful, cute and bright dream holiday home.
Maybe we were a bit too picky, but the search was worth it and here is our new home:

Nach langer Suche haben wir endlich ein wunderschönes, niedliches und helles Traumferienhaus gefunden.
Vielleicht waren wir etwas zu wählerisch, aber die Suche hat sich gelohnt und hier ist nun unser neues Heim:

 We are a German patchwork family that has been traveling to the USA, especially to Florida, for years.
When it comes to the weather, it is of course quite simple: the changeable, gray weather in Germany (or elsewhere) OR almost a guarantee of nice weather, pleasant temperatures (where the long clothes are more for decoration in the closet), beautiful landscapes, white beaches, warm sea, a positive attitude towards life of most people who live in the Sunshinestate.

Wir sind eine deutsche Patchworkfamily, die seit Jahren immer wieder in die USA reist, insbesondere nach Florida und dort Land und Leute genießt.
Wenn es ums Wetter geht, ist es natürlich recht einfach: das unbeständige, graue Wetter in Deutschland ODER annähernd eine Schön-Wetter-Garantie, angenehme Temperaturen (wo die langen Klamotten eher im Schrank zur Zierde sind), wunderschöne Landschaften, weiße Strände, warmes Meer, eine positive Lebenseinstellung der meisten Menschen die im Sunshinestate leben.
